OEM & Co-packing
DapoGo Halal OEM & Co-Packing Services

Hand us your recipe — we cook it, seal it in retort pouches, and deliver shelf-stable, ready-to-sell products under your brand, from our factory in Melaka Halal Hub, Malaysia. This service is built for businesses that have a product and an audience, but no factory.
If you are still weighing up whether co-packing is the right route for your food business, start with our founder’s guide to halal OEM and co-packing in Malaysia. This page explains what we offer and how to begin.
What do we actually do?
Three things, end to end: we cook your recipe in our factory kitchen, we seal it using retort processing so the product keeps at room temperature without refrigeration, and we prepare it under your label — not ours. What leaves the factory is entirely your product.
It is the same technology behind DapoGo’s own range of 54 products — sambal, rendang, rice sets and cooking pastes sold daily on dapogo.com, Shopee, TikTok Shop, Lazada and through Halal Street UK. The kitchen that would cook for your brand is a working kitchen, not a facility waiting for its first client.
Who is this for?
- Founders with a proven recipe — your food already has fans, but building your own facility is not the right next step.
- Existing brands adding a shelf-stable line — restaurants, caterers and retail brands that want a long-life version of what they already sell.
- Export-minded businesses — retort products need no cold chain, which changes the economics of shipping halal Malaysian food to markets like the UK and Singapore.
Why DapoGo?
Our factory operates inside Melaka Halal Hub (Plot 31 & 32, Jalan EP Serkam 9, 77300 Serkam, Melaka), a dedicated halal industrial park, since June 2026. We are not a packaging supplier selling empty pouches — we are a food brand that cooks, and has been in the ready-to-eat business since October 2020. The practicalities of taste, texture and shelf life in retort food are our daily work.

What formats and sizes are available?
The factory runs stand-up and pillow-style aluminium retort pouches — the two formats that suit gravies, rendang and pastes. For sambal we also offer glass jars. Pack size follows the weight of your product’s contents, so it is matched during the specification stage rather than picked off a fixed list.

What are the MOQs and prices?
The honest answer: it depends on your recipe, ingredients, pack size and volume. Full production starts at 1,000 pouches per SKU, and if you want to test the market first, a trial batch can go as low as 200 units. Pricing follows the consultation, once your recipe and pack size are settled. We break down how OEM costs are actually structured — and the questions worth asking any factory — in halal food OEM in Malaysia: real costs, MOQs and lead times.
How does the process work?
Five steps: consultation and recipe, sampling and taste tests, specification sign-off, production and retort packing, then delivery. Each step — including what you need to prepare — is laid out in our 5-step OEM process.
